The journey began in England’s West Midlands when the company was originally founded as Kincast Ltd, supplying metal cutting tools to key industrial sectors such as aerospace and automotive. Erodex later acquired and integrated Kincast’s operations, shifting its focus to become one of the first specialist producers dedicated to the development of premium-grade electrodes. This transition revolutionised electrode design, enabling rapid production of custom, non-standard shapes with pinpoint accuracy and reliable repeatability across all axes.
In 2008, Erodex expanded into a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, greatly enhancing its in-house machining capabilities. This upgrade allowed for even faster production of multiple component types and sizes, tailored precisely to customer specifications.
